Lenten Meals Foster Fellowship, Support Community Organizations

The Redeemer Serves team has partnered with several different groups in and around Redeemer’s Nixa Campus to provide Lenten meals to the congregation just before midweek worship services this year. In this way, groups at Redeemer can both foster fellowship within the congregation, while also making an impact in the community.

Six different groups from Redeemer have agreed to provide the meals each week, and each group chose a community organization for the freewill offering to support. Since all of the costs were covered by the Redeemer Serves Team, 100 percent of the donations are able to go to helping others!

At the first dinner, around 50 people enjoyed a spaghetti meal, and $200 was raised to support Southwest Missouri Lutheran Family and Children’s Services. Join us for the meal at 5:30 any Wednesday night (now through April 6th, 2022) to support other local organizations that are near and dear to the hearts of our members.

Here are all of the groups from Redeemer who  making an impact this lent, and the community organizations that they have chosen to support.
