Last year, we had over 75 volunteers from Redeemer shining the light of Jesus during Shine week 2023. Shine is an event sponsored by the Missouri District LCMS where congregations are encouraged to serve in their local communities during a specified week in April. This year is scheduled for April 12-21, 2024, and the Redeemer Serves Team is already making plans to participate again this year.

One opportunity to serve this year is being coordinated by the Nixa Ministerial Alliance, and will involve a community-wide work day on Saturday, April 13th from 9am-1pm. The Alliance would like to know who is interested and available to serve during that time frame, in order to prepare for the event.
