Devotion Writers for 40 Days of Courage

Is this your year to contribute?

40 Days of Courage begins with Ash Wednesday on February 18. During the following six weeks of Lent, we will discover how to find the courage to face every circumstance of life. We will examine Bible verses where God encourages us with the words, “Fear not”, and we will see examples of real people in the Bible who took these words to heart.

Redeemer is creating our own devotion book to fit with the theme of 40 Days of Courage. By writing a devotion for this book, you can help others stand firm on the promises of God even in their most challenging times. Here’s all you need to do:

  1. Review the Weekly Themes and Daily Topics.
  2. Choose one or two dates that interest you and sign up here.
  3. Submit your devotions as soon as possible, but NO LATER THAN JANUARY 14, to Pastor Moser at [email protected].
  4. The devotions must:
    a. Relate to the topic of the week
    b. Refer to the verse of the day
    c. Conclude with a short prayer
    d. Consist of 200 to 300 words
  5. Devotions submitted will be edited for length, grammar and content. Available dates are first come, first served.
  6. Please contact Pastor Moser with any questions at the church office: 417-881-5470

The weekly themes identify specific areas where God’s courage gives us the power to not just survive, but to thrive!
