Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity RESTORE in Springfield (max 10)

The Habitat ReStore accepts donations of household items and building supplies and sells them to the public. Proceeds go to help build Habitat for Humanity homes for people in need. Volunteers at the ReStore perform lots of different tasks, including accepting and processing donations, general cleaning, working at the checkout and customer service. In the last three years, Redeemer volunteers have helped clean up the outside of the property (leaves, trash); organized the household goods department; mixed paint; and sorted donated Christmas inventory to be stored until the holiday sale. We will help however they need us!

Volunteers must arrive 10 minutes prior to their scheduled shift for orientation. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. This project is limited to 10 volunteers. Please contact Tracy Dunn to sign up.
